Inside, “Aether’s Tilt” provides guests with a really different experience. Its expressive internal decor is a mix of steampunk and rural industry with brass light fittings, patterned linen and a crazily cogged mirror. But the style is by no means in place of the substance, the bedroom, kitchen and shower room are beautifully fitted and there’s even an iPad with WiFi and underfloor heating. A stay here can be a rural adventure of hikes and fire bowls, a cosy escape of hot tub soaks and afternoon movies or, as would seem most fitting for a steampunk-inspired cabin, some magical fusion of both.
