Offa’s Pitch cabin is a unique ‘Tent-like’ shape made of solid Welsh Oak that sits close to the great medieval dyke. Here you can imagine the most powerful Anglo Saxon King of Mercia, King Offa, came and pitched camp during his visits to inspect the workings. Perfect for couple retreats and couples glamping with hot tubs!

We had a lovely time at this very beautiful little unit set in a picturesque location beside a small stream and perfectly positioned for the lazy afternoon sun to work it's magic. Phil was a great host preparing the hot tub for our arrival with a chilled bottle of wine in the fridge, very nice indeed. Stargazing is just wonderful from here, it's dark, quiet, and magical. The accommodation is first class and very stylish with everything you could possibly need.

Offa's pitch is an excellent place to stay. Warm, well furnished with good quality linens. It has everything you needed. Very clean. No tv, just an ipad. Comfortable bed. Great views. Dark skies, if not cloudy! Very quiet but not too far to go for good food. Hosts, Phil and Avril were lovely, very helpful. Would certainly recommend.

Our stay at Offa’s Pitch was perfect in every way! The place is immaculate and beautifully presented to an incredibly high standard! You can feel the love and care that has gone into creating such a wonderful space. The Wood fired hot-tub was amazing. Phil was a fabulous host…we were greeted with a very warm, kind welcome and then given privacy and space to enjoy our little break away! We didn’t want to leave…it was a wonderful place to relax and unwind. We would love to return and would highly recommend Offa’s Pitch to friends.
